Andrew with Align RVA organized an Amazing trip to Finland!! Hes also a great yoga instructor who made each day fun whether in the studio or out of it. The trips he plans are absolutely worth the money I’d recommend them to anyone!
Andrew recently co-led a retreat to the Amalfi Coast that I was lucky enough to join. On top of beautiful scenery, amazing food, and excursions we did yoga. Which you might say pales in comparison to everything else but to that I say you’re wrong. Picture this; you wake up in a beautiful villa and throw on some cozy athletic clothes, grab your mat, and make your way up to the breathtaking views of Capri and the Amalfi coast on the rooftop. You make yourself an espresso and set up your mat as one of your instructors greets you after finishing their morning practice. Andrew was always warm and welcoming as people settled into being awake. You start with gentle movement to good music and easily laugh with those around you as you move through practice. Things wind down with yoga Nidra that truly left you wondering if you dosed off or had an out-of-body experience. In addition to leading incredible yoga practice, Andrew was kind and invested in everyone having a good time (even if that meant pivoting on a rained-out Capri day or making sure I enjoyed the path of the gods despite having to turn back early.) I can’t say enough good things about Andrew and hope to join another retreat soon! (I’m looking at you Finland.)
I recently had the absolute pleasure of attending a yoga retreat in Italy hosted by Align RVA and 3S Yoga, and I truly cannot say enough good things about the experience.
Andrew (Align RVA) and Nadeya (3S Yoga) planned and led a trip that was equal parts rejuvenating, well-organized, and deeply meaningful. From the very beginning, they were incredibly communicative, keeping us informed before, during, and even after the retreat, and created a seamless, stress-free experience from start to finish.
The itinerary was a perfect blend of beautifully curated activities with plenty of opportunities to explore on our own. Even when faced with unpredictable weather, Andrew and Nadeya handled everything with grace and flexibility, ensuring we didn’t miss out on a magical boat tour to Capri (a major highlight!) and adjusting shuttle logistics to accommodate changing conditions without missing a beat.
The yoga was thoughtfully tailored to each day, from invigorating morning practices to a deeply restorative yoga nidra after a long day. The location for our yoga overlooking Capri was absolutely breathtaking. A moment I’ll never forget. Transportation, meals, excursions, every detail was handled with care. But what really stood out was the incredible sense of community they fostered. Andrew and Nadeya cultivated such a welcoming and connected group energy, helping build genuine relationships among people who began the week as strangers.
It’s clear how much time, energy, and heart went into making this retreat so special. If you’re considering a retreat with Align RVA or 3S Yoga, do it! You will be supported, inspired, and walk away with unforgettable memories and new friends.
My wife and I recently visited Italy for a trip organized by Align RVA and 3S Yoga. Andrew and Nadeya did a fantastic job in every aspect of the trip! To say the week exceeded my expectations would be an understatement. They also perfectly tailored the yoga sessions so both novice and seasoned yoga participants would enjoy it and likely learn something new along the way.
I would not hesitate to take part in future functions, both local and international, organized by Align RVA.
I found AlignRVA when I first moved to Richmond and then recently attended their yoga retreat in Italy. I can’t recommend this practice enough - Andrew and his community are so welcoming and kind and provide a yoga practice that makes you want to come back again and again.
I went on Andrew’s Finland trip and absolutely loved the experience. There was a great balance of activities and down time. He curated activities to explore new things (e-bikes in the snow, sauna and cold plunge in a river, aurora chasing) and restorative activities (yoga nidra, reiki) to help you refill your personal tank. I loved the intimacy of traveling with a small group and felt Andrew created a safe and nurturing space for us to explore Finland.
